Hi, Unfortunately i missed your radio talk. I have pernicious anemia along with my sister , mother , grandmother and auntie. I have recently been prescribed folic acid, is this likely to be related to my pernicious anemia. I have b12 injections every 10 weeks, but could do with them before the 10 weeks. I work part time but really struggle with my job. I also have an under active thyroid , so do most of the females in my family.
On Friday I had a telephone call from a lady who has 34 members of her family with Pernicious Anaemia!
Did she say how many, if any, were being adequately treated?
All of them are being treated but I don’t know how many are being treated according to their needs.
