Thank You – from Prof. Hunter’s Research Team

I’ve been asked to thank all those who volunteered to take part in Prof Hunter’s Research Programme that is investigating why some patients need more frequent treatment than others. We appealed for members who manage perfectly well on the 3-month regime in the UK.

We now have more than the required number of participants and consent forms were sent out yesterday (Saturday) and as soon as we receive those back we will send out the sample containers.

Now we need to start recruiting the ‘control’ group – at least 12 people who have no symptoms, have had their B12 levels tested in the past year and showed no deficiency – normal healthy people.

If you know of anyone who would be willing to take part please email Taylor so that we can add him or her to our database.

We’re getting there!

    Hi

My husband Gavin has said he will volunteer as a control. He hasn’t had his bloods done but we’re sure our doctor will oblige for this. Failing that my 10 year old son Ryan has just had his bloods done and he’s a healthy 856/900. I’m not sure whether you would accept a minor though.
